The Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, has Muslims to pray to God to end the deadly Coronavirus.
Oba Olabomi, in a statement by his media assistant, Jimoh Olorede, enjoined Muslims to eschew all vices and immoral behaviour during and even after Ramadan.
The monarch urged them to ensure self-reform and spiritual purity in their obedience and submission to Allah.
The Aragbiji appealed to the faithful on the dire need to pray to Allah, who according to the monarch, is the only and last resort, who could put an end to the ravaging Coronavirus pandemic.
He said: “The best contribution Muslims can make to assist governments, especially as countries all over the world are striving to find a solution to the deadly Coronavirus, is by using the grace provided by this holy month of Ramadan to seek the benevolent face of God for global eradication of COVID-19.
“May Allah be pleased with the holiness of this month, protect you against the deadly virus and ease your hardships and shower you with loads of peace and prosperity”, the monarch prayed.
