The governor of Ekiti State has made a new appointment. Mr. Demi Adeoye, who kicked his son out for not adhering to his advice of not travelling from Lagos to Ekiti state as a result of the covid-19 lockdown has been appointed as a covid-19 Response Ambassador in Ekiti State.
In a special letter signed by the governor, he thanked the man for his strict obedience to the law and a role model to other parents who would want their children to sneak out of their locations for inter state travels which have been banned by the president.
Recall that there has been a viral video of the man seriously scolding his son for leaving Lagos , which he described as the epicenter of the virus in Nigeria to Ekiti state and was seriously asking him to go back to Lagos or go to any of the isolation centers in the state and stay there for fourteen days before coming into his house.
On several assurance that his son's temperature was normal and that he should take him home, he still insisted that he go back to Lagos.
This is one of a strict law adherer which is an eye opener to other parents.
