These habits are killing you silently.

Sometimes we do things without thinking about it's effects in the long run, especially when it comes to our health. Some habits we cultivate at a young age might affect us when we get older inform of kidney disease, diabetes, liver failure and so many other diseases . Here are some habits that are killing you silently. 1) You are not drinking enough water: your body is made up of 75% water and it needs a certain quantity of water to function properly and effectively, not taking enough water can negatively affect your kidney, liver, skin and every other organ in your body.Try to take at least one liter of water(trust me it's not too much) or eight glasses of water this aids in digestion and other bodily functions. 2)Excessive alcohol intake/Smoking alot: That extra bottle of beer affects not only your liver but most of your other organs as well.Limit your daily alcohol intake and notice the difference .So the next time you would like to drink yourself to stupor remember that organ transplants cost alot of money. EXCESSIVE SMOKING LEAVES YOU AT A RISK OF CONTRACTING CORONA VIRUS. 3)Taking too much sugar : When you take too much sugar you end up overworking your liver, gaining excess weight and having too much visceral fat. This could lead to organ failure, obesity and diabetes . 4)Consuming too much packaged or processed foods: We all know how convenient it is to rely on processed foods but some of them contain so much sodium and sugar (much more than our daily required amount) and not enough macro nutrients. So try to incorporate whole foods or fresh foods into your diet to avoid a nutrient deficiency and water retention. 5)Not getting enough rest: Sometimes life happens but the ability to find time to relax and rest despite the troubles of life is very satisfying.Your body is not a machine so rest is important in order to help the body function better as your body repairs damaged cells and tissues while you are at rest. 6)Self medication: Some of us avoid the hospital because "it's expensive or because we're too busy",but this is very detrimental to your health as you might misdiagnose your self , Take the inappropriate amount of drugs,or you might even miss some underlying ailments which can be fatal if not treated at it's early stages such as cancer and hypertension.Try to visit the hospital at least once a year for a total body check up. 7) Avoid unprotected sex: Withdrawal method might partially prevent pregnancy but it won't protect you from STDs such as hepatitis B and C,HIV/AID etc . Endeavor to use a condom when you are not sure of your sexual partner. Remember that moderation is the key to a balanced life. STAY SAFE
