it could be recalled that around March 2019, it was reported that some unknown kidnappers refused to release one Dr. Benedict Audu, his son, and a family friend, after receiving 7.5 million naira ransom for their release.
Reports had it that they were abducted while journeying from Takum in Taraba State, toAbuja on March 26. 2019
Subsequent reports later had it that Mr Audu, 70, and his son, Iramon, 32, and one other family friend by the name Samaila Akenjinba, 30, were killed by the kidnappers despite receiving the ransom of 7.5million naira.

However, it is said that nothing hidden under the sun that shall not be revealed. According to a video posted on Youtube by ChannelsTV, the Nigerian police were able to arrest the kidnappers as they confessed on how they killed Dr Audu Benedict, son and the family friend despite receiving the ransom.
Henry Terkula
One of the kidnappers by the name Terhili Tsavbe, 30, from Benue state, confessed that his boss collected the ransom and gave him only 300,000 naira, in which they later killed the Doctor, his son and friend.
Henry Terula admitted to the crime and also confessed of kidnapping his relative who was luckily released, but later paid the sum of 500,000 naira as ransom. The victim's name is one Veronica Abayi.
They were later paraded on the video as interviewers surrounded them bombarding them with questions.
It was a trending news that year, as it was reported that the Doctor and his son, with a friend was killed despite paying the ransom. May their souls keep on resting in peace.
