We all have that one football club that we love and would risk going out at night just to watch them play. As a fact, we have bought jerseys of our favorite team and love wearing them. That's loyalty to the club, right? Today we shall focus on clubs that have the highest number of fans in the entire world.
1.Real Madrid. They are no doubt the most successful club in the European Union. Their success has attracted many fans from all corners of the world. Real Madrid's director of institutional relations says that the number of Real Madrid fans is around 450 million scattered across 186 of the 193 countries. As a fact, they have nearly 88 million followers on Instagram,34 million on Twitter and 110 million on Facebook.
2.FC Barcelona. It is estimated that the club has nearly 220 million supporters. Most of the fans come out in large numbers at coup Nou to watch Messi and his teammates play while others remain at home glued to their televisions. Barcelona has the largest stadium in Europe which is capable of holding around 100,000 fans.
3.Manchester United. Here in Kenya we always complain about how manchester united fans are too noisy. It is said that the number of United fans in the world might be around 127 million. The number might have since risen during the Sir Alex Furguson reign due to multiple trophies won. They have around 35 million followers on Instagram, 72 million on Facebook and 22 million on Twitter.
4.Chelsea. Their current stand is at 145 million fans in the world. The blues boost of around 48 million fans on Facebook, 14.4 million on Twitter and 22 million followers on Instagram.The number of fans grew rampantly in 2003 when Roman Abramovich invested billions of money into the club.
5.Juventus. Though these figures are not accurate, the number of Juventus fan is estimated to be around 140 million. The old lady is one of the most supported clubs in the world. The fan base has even grown higher after they signed the renown Real Madrid former star Christiano Ronaldo.
6.Bayern Munich. This is the most supported club in entire Germany. The club has a history of bagging the Bundesliga cup for countless times. The club has more than 21 million followers on Instagram, around 5 million on Twitter and nearly 50 million on Facebook.
7.Paris Saint Germain. The club is indeed the face of Paris! Indeed, we have witnessed that parc des princes is one of the fully packed stadiums whenever games are on. Their fans have the inner drive, crazy moves and their love for the club is never-ending.
