Ridge (rapper) Turns 36 Today
Olubowale Victor Akintimehin (conceived September 21, 1984), better known by his stage name Wale, is a Nigerian-American rapper. He previously rose to conspicuousness in 2006, when his tune "Burrow Dug (Shake It)" got famous in his old neighborhood. Ridge turned out to be privately perceived and kept chronicle music for the local crowd.
Ridge met maker Mark Ronson in 2006 and joined Ronson's name, Allido Records, in 2007. While marked to that name, Wale delivered a few mixtapes and showed up in public media including MTV and different Black-American-centered magazines. A melody called "Ridin' in That Black Joint" was highlighted in the well known computer game Saints Row 2's soundtrack in 2008.
In 2008, Wale marked with Interscope Records for $1.3 million, and his presentation collection Attention Deficit was delivered in 2009 with the singles "Chillin", "Pretty Girls", and "World Tour". The collection, albeit under-dispatched, got positive surveys from pundits.
In mid 2011, Wale marked with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group, where individuals from the name delivered an accumulation collection, Self Made Vol. 1 on May 23, 2011. His second studio collection, Ambition was delivered November 1, 2011, with blended surveys. His third studio collection, The Gifted, was delivered on June 25, 2013, to chiefly certain audits; it appeared at number one on the Billboard 200. His subsequent Billboard number one collection The Album About Nothing was delivered on March 31, 2015.
In 2018, Wale delivered three EPs named It's Complicated, Self-Promotion and Free Lunch.
In 2019, Wale delivered his 6th studio collection Wow... That is Crazy, with the collection's lead single "On Chill" delivered on July 12, 2019. It was met with positive audits and went through 23 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 topping at #22.
In 2020, Wale delivered The Imperfect Storm.
