Animals are like humans, they vary in size too and also attitude. Every breed of dog has an expected size it should reach, some of don't get to their limit while some pass the expected limit.
The biggest pit bull is the Hulk which weighs 173 pounds, I is hailed as the world largest bully pitbull. The Hulk is a giant pitbull, despite its large size it is very loyal to it's owner.
pitbulls is a general name this breed of dogs are called because, they are from the family of terriers and bulldogs. This pitbull breed was created by crossbreeding terriers and bulldogs. The pitbull breed has great strength just like bulldogs, with the agility and skills of the terrier breed.
Pitbulls have so many functions, they are highly skilled and can serve as police dogs, they are being used for rescues too. It has not been proved that pitbulls are dangerous.
I have come across different sizes of pitbull dogs but this appear to be the biggest I have seen. See pictures of the biggest pitbull below;
