I Have Never Earned A Dime From Lekki Toll Gate, Bola Tinubu Says

All Progressives Congress tribal leader, Bola Tinubu, says he will never be important for any massacre. 

Tinubu was responding to Tuesday night assault which saw security powers open fire on #EndSARS dissidents at the Lekki tollbooth territory of Lagos State. 

The previous Lagos State lead representative talked on Wednesday morning in a phone meet with Channels Television observed by The PUNCH. 

He censured the activity supposedly executed by the Nigerian Army, saying, "For what reason will they utilize live shots? 

"I will never, never be important for any savagery. I will never be important for that." 

Tinubu likewise denied having any interest in the Lekki Concession Company, the firm which deals with the tollbooth. 

"I have no dime, no kobo interest in the tollbooth," he said. 

Proceeding, the APC tribal leader stated, "We are around 13 to 14 days into the fights now. Prior to now, I was being blamed and answered to the Presidency that I was behind the fights, that I was a patron of the fights." 

Tinubu said he invalidated the charges and "spoke to the adolescents" and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to react to the requests of the nonconformists. 

"That was the reason he (Sanwo-Olu) set up the Judicial Commission of Inquiry. The lead representative has gone to the home of one of the casualties to interest them. 

"He has assembled N200m as a component of compensation and pay for those assaulted." 

Misfortune struck when security agents, in an offer to scatter #EndSARS nonconformists, apparently started shooting at the overflowing adolescents at the Lekki tollbooth around 7pm on Tuesday. 

Onlookers guaranteed seven people, generally adolescents, passed on in the assault while around 30 harmed casualties are as of now getting medicines at various clinics in the Lekki zone
