The minority council of the House of Representatives has approached the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to arrange the capture and arraignment of officers who assaulted #EndSARS dissidents at the Lekki Tollgate on Tuesday night.
The Minority Leader, Mr Ndudi Elumelu, in an announcement gave on Wednesday, "unequivocally" censured killing of "serene and unarmed" dissidents by security agents at Lekki Tollgate and different pieces of the nation.
The nonconformists were assaulted by officers, who terminated live ammo at them after the Closed Circuit Television Cameras in the region were supposedly taken out and lights were killed.
In the announcement named, 'Reps Minority Condemns Killing of Protesters,' the council stated, "such underhanded demonstration of extrajudicial murdering of unprotected residents by associated specialists with the state can't be supported or excused under any standard or appearance at all."
The announcement incompletely read, "As administrators and delegates of the individuals, we can't acknowledge this abhorrent execution of our young ones in their own nation by security agents. Life is sacrosanct and nobody has the privilege to end the life of another in light of the fact that he has the contraption of state power.
