The world football governing body FIFA has on Saturday night reacted after Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos broke a new record in Spain national team's 1-1 draw against Switzerland at St. Jakob Park Stadium.
The Spaniard was given a starting role by coach Luis Enrique again, to make his 177 appearances for the Spanish national team in all competitions.
The former Sevilla star led the away team's defense line alongside the likes of Sergio Reguilon, Pau Torres and Sergio Roberto, and they were all outstanding in the game despite conceding a goal in the first half.
