Sweetcorn, a Nigerian artiste has claimed he regrets going to church.

The singer lately made the arguable declaration on faith, hinting that he does not accept as true with faith is of any top to people now as no longer best is it harmful, it has also outlived its purpose.

In an encounter with Sunday Sun, the United Kingdom- based growing act who lately launched his debut album titled Ikenna said, “About 2 months ago I went to church and I regretted it, before then changed into approximately 6 months in the past. I agree with each pastor should preach lifestyles and help beef up your religion in God, not hold forth like their analyzing a scripted guide or recognition on fundraising for a church venture.

‘Religion is surely a hard and fast of policies and doctrines which can be carved out by guy and for other guys telling them how to worship their god(s). And this god supposedly created every body equal. Then a set of those who assume they have got strength or superior to others make policies telling each other man or woman how to worship their gods. I will reiterate that religion has outlived its motive. It is now dangerous to man. You can’t really worship your God on a person else’s phrases, it’s just wrong.’

Also lending his voice to the #EndSARS movement which had been trending in the united states of america, Sweetcorn says it became indeed a legitimate protest with authentic demands.

He provides: ‘It is just unfortunate that we have a government and not using a human feelings. Also, it’s a disgrace that the older generation didn’t show any form of aid even if they know we have been fighting for our right to life and a higher Nigeria for all.’
