Super Eagles of Nigeria defender William Troost Ekong scored his first goal in England on Saturday evening for Watford football club in the English Championship in England at Vicarage Road Stadium.
The former Gent football club of Belgium star continues his excellent performance, as he helped his club to another fantastic outing, to move to the second spot in the English Championship table.
Ekong who completed a move to the English Championship side Watford FC from Italian serie A giants Udinese Calcio FC this summer for the region of £5 million, has been superb for his team and they are working in the right direction to gain a promotion to the English top tier league.
Andre Gray opened scoring for the home team in the 53rd minutes before Gustavo Hamer equalized in the 63rd minutes, and Tyler Walker put Coventry FC ahead in the 64th minutes, before William Troost Ekong equalized via a header, and Ismaila Sarr scored an injury time penalty to end the match 3-2.
Reacting after guiding his team to a victory, William Troost Ekong posted a highlight of his goal on his verified Instagram handle with the caption of;
"Big 3 points today! Great character from the boys. Happy to get off the mark with my first goal. Thanks @jgarnerr96 for making it easy to get my big head on that. Some more of those please! COYH!!!."
