It has been nearly 18 months considering I became the 15th Governor of Lagos State: whilst the ultimate one and a half of years have been consequential and noteworthy: today’s finances presentation offers an possibility to enunciate our financial imaginative and prescient for the next twelve months while quantifying our challenges, triumphs and developmental achievements within the last 365 days.

We have audacious governance goals, which we cannot reap with out the concerted efforts of all our human beings- we have to no longer permit the events of the past few months to obliterate our constant cycles of socio- economic development. Let us start to rebuild our kingdom with determination and optimism, whilst we improve the pursuits of the voters and restore their confidence in this government.
I want all Lagosians to recognise that the safety of lives and assets remains a priority of this administration: to the marketers whose groups have been looted and vandalized, I urge you to take the helping hand supplied by using the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund whilst we paintings on different interventions to cushion the impact of your losses. We are on this collectively, we share the resilient Lagos Spirit, which abhors defeat; we ought to be intentional approximately courageously rebuilding Lagos State, which has continually been reputed for its political and monetary freedom.
