Previous Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has approached the authority of the National Assembly to retain the 2020 financial plan of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) it gave Monday to a Sole Administrator as of late arrangement by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Straightforward in discrete letters to the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, said delivering the 2020 financial plan of the organization to a substance obscure to the NDDC's law would add up to supporting lawlessness.

Composing through his legal counselor, Edward Omaga, Esq., who is a Principal Partner at Graylaw Solicitors, Frank contended that under no circumstances should the ninth National Assembly under the watch of Lawan and Gbajabiamila "be utilized to endorse the lawlessness submitted by the President of Nigeria, which is plainly not in light of a legitimate concern for the Niger Delta individuals."

The letter named: "Dissent against the expenditure of N453.2billlion being affirmed 2020 financial plan for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) by Effiong Okon Akwa, as Sole Administrator" peruses to some degree:

"We submit for our customer that the choice by Mr. President to delegate Effiong Okon Akwa as Sole Administrator to 'administer the continuous scientific review of the Commission to its consummation' is outsider, unlawful, void and truly irritates the fine arrangements of Sections 2, 3 and 4 of the NDDC (Establishment) Act, 2000.

"There is no repudiating the way that NDDC is a production of law and can't be worked dependent on the impulses and fancies of President Muhammadu Buhari or some other individual besides.

"That past organizations permitted certain people to go about as Sole Administrators at various occasions while anticipating the affirmation of a Board doesn't make the cycle legitimate in any way at all.

"What had occurred in the past is just an awful priority set out of obliviousness or carelessness of the law and should not be permitted to proceed. All things considered, wrongdoing twenty years back remaining parts illicitness today and until the end of time."

Plain said that inability to regard his notice by the initiative of the National Assembly would leave him with no other choice than to challenge their activity in a court of able purview.

"Our customer emphatically accepts that the illicit arrangement of Effiong Okon Akwa as Sole Administrator of NDDC should bomb when tried under the steady gaze of a court of able ward in the coming days.

"We in this way request that your great workplaces ought not under any circumstances approve the expenditure of the affirmed N453.2 billion

being 2020 Budget for NDDC or any part thereof by Effiong Okon Akwa for motivations behind running the undertakings of the Commission.

"Pay heed that our customer will look for review in court against your office in the far-fetched occasion that his interest thus isn't clung to or treated with levity.

"While practicing the choice of case, our customer will neither have plan of action to your office nor think about the harm that might be brought about by his activity. We do trust that savvy guidance will win!" the letter added.
