Confusion As APC Gets Two Candidates On Imo North Bye-Election

There was confusion among voters and appointive partners in Imo state on Friday following two clashing court decisions on the destiny of the All Progressives Congress APC for Imo North Senatorial bye-political race holding today (Saturday). 

While the Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri fired Senator Ifeanyi Araraume and announced Sir Frank Ibezim as the credible applicant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the rescheduled Imo North senatorial bye-political race, the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, on its part, precluded Mr Ibezim dependent on charges of phony.

In the redrafting court judgment, perused by Justice Uchechukwu Onyemenam, the court entirely blamed the November 6, 2020 judgment which terminated Ibezim and reported Araraume as the competitor of APC, having won the gathering essential political decision.

It subsequently banned INEC from tolerating him as competitor of the APC for the senatorial by-political race. 

In a connected turn of events, the court, on Friday, maintained the selection of Chief Abel Ebifemowei, as applicant of the APC for the Bayelsa Central Senatorial by-political decision. 

The court, in a judgment by Justice Okon Abang, excused a suit Oyowei Manfred documented to challenge Ebifemowei's designation. 

The court held that the offended party neglected to demonstrate that the first Defendant neglected to leave the Nigerian Air Force before he took an interest in essential political decision the APC led on September 3. 

It focused on that the Plaintiff neglected to oppose Ebifemowei's case that he was excused from the Air Force 27 years back.
