Following the new limitations on strict social occasions reported by the Federal Government to control the spread of COVID-19, official helper, Lauretta Onochie, has said that it is not the slightest bit an endeavor to keep chapels from getting contributions and offerings.
The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 yesterday positioned a cutoff on the quantity of people permitted at such social events and others.
The PTF through the executive, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, likewise said that the utilization of face covers will be upheld.
"Confine all casual and formal merriment occasions including weddings, meetings, congresses, office parties, shows, workshops, wearing exercises, end of year occasions will be limited to not in excess of 50 people.
"Breaking point all social affairs connected to strict occasions to under 50% limit of the office of utilization during which physical removing; required utilization of face veils will be carefully authorized," he said.
Responding to the declaration, Onochie said that the choice "involves life and passing."
As per her, "this is anything but an underhanded government attempting to remove the delight from Christmas.
"It is anything but a method of denying church pioneers their contributions and offerings.
It's not the public authority denying us the chance of seeing our families whom we have not seen for some time.
"This isn't about Islam versus Christianity. Covid has no religion," she closed.
