Spokesman for the Lagos Police Command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the Area Commander simply attempted to settle the issue agreeably in light of the fact that Ezeimo asserted Hackman needed to re-visitation of Ghana with their kid.
A Ghanaian, Magdalene Hackman, has sobbed for help after her antagonized accomplice, Udoka Ezeimo, supposedly fled Lagos with their three-year-old youngster.
The lady blamed police officers appended to Area 'M' Command, Idimu, of supporting aggressive behavior at home by requesting that her get back and make harmony with Ezeimo who 'actually attacked' her.
Hackman said the police, instead of explore the issue, foot-hauled and oppressed her since she recorded a grumbling of abusive behavior at home and youngster kidnapping.
Her predicament was brought before the Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network (ACVPN). She lamented that the Area 'M' Commander requested that her re-visitation of Ezeimo in light of the fact that he guaranteed never to hit her again.
Secretary of ACVPN Ebenezer Omejalile, who excoriated the police treatment of the case, said Ezeimo was approached to carry the infant to the Idimu Police Station yet never appeared.
He stated: "Ezeimo and Magdalene were likewise taken to see the Area 'M' Commander and it was stunning that the Area Commander decided to be one-sided as he didn't see anything incorrectly in what Ezeimo did. The Area Commander requested that the lady re-visitation of Ezeimo who had openly mortified her since she's Ghanaian and with so much viciousness recorded in the relationship.
"How might he ask a lady, who had been manhandled and damaged, to return to such a relationship?"
Ezeimo said the issue was at that point before the police and he didn't have anything more to add.
