President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said he won't surrender to dangers from those giving him final offer to make certain moves or something bad might happen " the country will separate".
The Presidency in an explanation by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on media and Publicity said he won't be compelled to remove any choice from dread at a time Nigeria is fighting with security challenges and the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The Presidency reacts to the common dangers to the corporate presence of the nation with groups giving explicit courses of events for the President to do something or disaster will be imminent, in their language, "the country will separate."
"This is to caution that such traitorous upheavals are both pointless and unjustifiable as this administration won't capitulate to dangers and remove any choice from pressure when the country's complete consideration is expected to manage the security challenges confronting it during a period of the Covid-19 wellbeing emergency".
"Rehash: this organization won't take any ruling against the interests of 200 million Nigerians, who are the President's first obligation under the constitution, out of dread or dangers particularly in this hour of wellbeing emergency".
"The President as a chosen chief under this constitution will keep on working with energetic Nigerians, through and in accordance with the Parliamentary cycles to discovering answers for underlying and different obstacles to the development and prosperity of the country and its kin".
