The Rivers State Police Command, on Thursday, December 3, strutted three speculates captured regarding the assault on the Christian Universal Church International that has a place with the dad of Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Saturday night, November 28, Igbere TV reports.
Strutting the speculates this evening, the Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph G. Mukan, said the suspects admitted to their complicity in the obnoxious demonstration.
He gave the names of the suspects as Progress Onwudinjo 'm' a long time from Etche LGA, Rivers State, Apuru Victor 'm' a long time from Ebonyi State and John Okorie 'm' a long time from Abia State.
Mukan added that in their articulations, the suspects admitted to being individuals from the restricted Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), conceded they followed up on the order of a specific sponsor whose name won't be disclosed for clear reasons forthcoming the result of the examination.
He said the examination is as yet continuous after which the speculates will be charged to court.
The police manager cautioned lowlifes in the State, particularly those working under the appearance of IPOB to have a reexamine or face the full weight of the law.
He consoled the inhabitants of the State that there is no reason to get excited as the Command under his supervision is like never before set up to manage all criminal components in the State.
He spoke to occupants of the state to impart sound and noteworthy data to the Police and exploit the Community Policing Initiative of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM in bringing policing to the networks.
