The Milan Court of Appeal affirmed this Thursday the sentence to nine years in jail to the Brazilian soccer player Robson de Souza "Robinho" for partaking in an assault of a young lady at a dance club in Milan in 2013, Italian media report.
Robinho, previous player of Real Madrid or of Manchester City, played in the Milan in that season and partook with a companion, Ricardo Falco, in the assault of an Albanian young lady who was celebrating in a nearby associate in Milan his 23rd birthday.

Santos, who had declared the arrival of the 36-year-old Brazilian striker toward the beginning of October, suspended his agreement presently following weight emerging from the sexual viciousness conviction he got in Italy.
In a proclamation distributed by Santos, it was clarified that the activity was suspended so the player could "focus solely on his guard in the process that happens in Italy."
Robinho denied the allegations in 2014, when the news broke that Italy was researching him for these occasions.
