The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted to the air operations on camps believed to have been occupied by the Eastern Security Network (ESN) by the Nigerian military in Imo State, Igbere TV reports.
The operations sent residents of Orlu and Orsu local government areas of Imo State scampering for safety.
Reacting to the air strikes, IPOB in a statement made available to Igbere TV said the Federal Government of Nigeria have brought war upon the Biafran people.
The announcement signed via Mazi Chika Edoziem, the Head of Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) reads; “The Nigerian government through its military has eventually declared open war of words with the Biafran humans in their bid to annoy, intimidate and cow us into submission to relinquish our ancestral lands to overseas Fulani terrorists.
“IPOB worldwide have to gird their loins and be prepared for the lengthy drawn out warfare beforehand.
“The leadership of the Indigenous people Of Biafra make formidable to country unequivocally that there shall be no inch of BiÃ¥fran land (BiÃ¥fran territory) to be ceded to the Fulani Marauders from the Sahel.
“The Nigerian army has thrown the gauntlet and we the Indigenous People Of Biafra Shall accept their undertaking because there will neither be retreat nor give up in this our adventure to liberty and freedom.
“Now that the Nigerian government has activated its final way to the BiÃ¥fran query with Helicopter gunships in Orlu, they have crossed the road of no return and for us the Indigenous People of Biafra there is only one option this is open for us.
“We MUST protect every inch of our ancestral land and we MUST protect our inalienable right to stay in the land of our ancestors as a unfastened humans to develop our CHUKWUOKIKEABIAMA given abilties for the gain and elevation of our humans just like our ancestors did heaps of years earlier than us.
“Every IPOB member of the family need to be very aware of the time we've got entered and showcase the best level of field and be ready to comply with each directive as may be issued with the aid of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”
