National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uche Secondus on Thursday held talks with a former minister of aviation Femi Fami-Kayode.
Mr Fani-Kayode has been rumoured to be plotting a move away from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress, an allegation he has denied repeatedly.
PDP national publicity secretary Kola Ologbondiyan broke the news of the meeting via Twitter.
He said:
“The National Chairman of our top notch party, prince @UcheSecondus in corporation of NWC participants in a meeting with former Minister of Aviation, @realFFK.”
Members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) were also a part of the assembly with the ex-minister.
Mr Ologbondiyan quoted Fani-Kayode as assuring the PDP leaders that he changed into not leaving the celebration.
“If I had any worries, such issues are out of the windows already now. I’m part of you and I will remain a part of you,” the previous minister changed into quoted as saying.
Fani-Kayode had in advance in the yr met Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and APC caretaker chairman Mai Buni in Abuja.
Days after the meeting, Bello appeared in a video announcing the previous minister had joined the APC, however Fani-Kayode at once denied it.
