The NSCDC boss stated this while calling for collaboration to win the war against bandits.
Mr Ahmed Audi, the Commandant General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, has stated that bandits terrorising the country are bankrolled by international sponsors while calling for a collaboration of armed forces to tackle insecurity.
He said this at a training workshop for state commandants of the NSCDC which held in Abuja on Wednesday
Audu said what is required to tackle the security situation is a collaboration among security agencies in the country.
“Following how activities are unfolding inside the united states of america, we're experiencing a serious conflict that I suppose inside the history of Nigeria, this is about the primary war so one can deliver us a extreme trouble and the war is called asymmetric conflict.
“We have had inside the beyond a few semblance of this form of war but the right manifestation of it is the only we're seeing now and asymmetric warfare is a warfare that requires all arms to be on deck if we really need to address it and nip it in the bud.
“These guys are critical; those men have international sponsors, so we need to come back together,” the NSCDC boss said.
Audi suggested security organizations in opposition to what he known as service supremacy and rivalry which he says will be a venture to the collaboration had to win the warfare towards bandits.
He delivered, “Civil defence will do our first-class to make certain that these protection incidences are curbed and absolutely eliminated.”
