According to the governor, he has paid the salaries of all genuine workers in the state.
Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma has disclosed that his administration is not owing salaries and the people saying they have not been paid are either ghost workers or fraudsters.
He stated that he is challenging anyone who has not been paid to come to the government house with their employment details and they would be paid immediately.
Governor Uzodinma addressed this when he spoke to newsmen this morning March 15 as part of activities marking his first anniversary in workplace
“This government has paid every true worker; those complaining of non-charge are both ghost employees or fraudsters. I am hard anyone who has no longer received his or her salaries to come to Government House together with his employment details and we are able to pay her or him immediately'’ he said
The governor said that the technology whilst Permanent Secretaries were chosen thru appointment was over. He added that Directors ought to skip promoting examinations and interview techniques before being appointed as Permanent Secretaries to ensure that handiest able people have been appointed.
He additionally promised to restore all abandoned state-owned industries to enhance the country’s economic system.
