Alexander Chuka Iwobi is a Nigerian professional footballer who is currently playing as a winger for Premier League club Everton and the Nigeria national team.
He was born in Lagos, Nigeria but, his family moved to Turkey when he was just 2 year old, his family moved in with his uncle(Jay Jay Okocha). Then Okocha was playing at Fernabeche. At age 4, Iwobi was taken to London by his family after his uncle relocated there to play with Bolton Wanderers. He was raised fully in an east London estate close to Bolton Wanderers.
Okocha helped Iwobi to sign for Arsenal academy when Iwobi was in primary school, then he was just eight year old. At first, things didn't go really well for him and he was threatened to be release if he didn't improve.
So his mother had to invite Okocha and Kanu to do some extra training on him, after those training he became better and Arsenal was impressed with his improvement, so he was promoted.
He began his profession career at Arsenal with 149 appearances and scoring 15 goals, and winning the FA Cup in 2017.
Iwobi's mother, Mrs Chuka Iwobi and Jay Jay Okocha are siblings. Iwobi's father, Mr Iwobi was a footballer but he had to study Law to become a barrister so he can provide for the family.
