According to him, Dr Amaechina, then a House Officer, revived him and broke protocol to get blood for his transfusion.
Tochukwu Ezeukwu, a former bank director has reconnected with a House Officer, who went out of his way to revive and save his life at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in 2017.
Mr Ezeukwu found Dr. Sammy Amaechina after posting about his near-death experience on Twitter.
According to him, Dr Amaechina, then a House Officer, revived him and broke protocol to get blood for his tranfusion.
"A House Officer saved my lifestyles in LUTH on the tenth of November 2017. He stood by means of me while every body else fearful of blood stood aloof. Revived me once I surpassed out, broke protocol to get me blood and transfused me. His call is Dr. Amaechina. Where ever you're, thank you, again."
The tweet determined its manner to Dr. Amaechina (@birds_errand) who promptly responded. He additionally referred to a nurse who contributed in saving Ezeukwu's existence.
"Heyya, I 'm happy to had been there for you. There become an extraordinary nurse within the photograph, I assume his first name is Christian/Christopher. Extremely good man." he wrote.
Ezeukwu answered thanking him for his diligence and selflessness.
"Hello Doc. Thank you for your diligence and selflessness that night . Thank you. God bless nurse Christopher wherever he is, I remember him."
