5 American Rapper Currently In US Prison

 

As bad as it may sound, rappers ending up in prison is a trend that must be reversed or stopped for good. Many artists are currently on involuntary vacations (prison) for a variety of offenses, both big and minor offenses.

While many are in prison for minor offenses such as parole violations, others are facing more serious crimes such as murder and theft.

The American rapper, 03 Greedo, is regarded as one of the greatest artists to have ever graced the top stages of the rap industry in the United States of America.

Sadly, the music artist, in 2018, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for gun and drug related offences.

2. G-Dep:

Also regarded as one of America's greatest rappers; G-Dep's conscience allegedly made him to confess to police officers that he had one gunned down a man and accidentally killed him on the spot.

Furthermore in 2011, and for committing murder, G-Dep was sentenced to 15-years to life in prison.

3. Marion Surge Knight:

Marion Surge Knight also takes his place as one of the biggest guns in the rap industry in the United States of America.

As of late 2018, Marion Surge Knight was sentenced to 28 years in prison for killing a man whom goes by the name of Terry Carter.

4. Christopher Noel Dorsey:

Another rapper on the list, Christopher Noel Dorsey, popularly known as B. G amongst his fans is one of the rappers whom are currently in prison.

The artist came into the spotlight as a member of the Hot Boys while on Cash Money Records; sadly, on the 12th of July, 2012, Christopher Noel Dorsey was sentenced to 14 years in prison for witness tampering and felony gun possession.

5. Tay-K:

 

His own story might be the most saddest story on this list as this young blood was sentenced to 55 years in prison in 2019 for his role in the death of a 21-year-old Ethan Walker whom was murdered in cold-blood in 2006
