Singer Ayra Starr and her record label, Mavin Records in trouble for allegedly shunning an event after N3M payment was made.
Ayra Starr and her record label, Mavin Records, are on the verge of receiving a lawsuit from a Bayelsa nightclub, Voltage, for breach of contract.

The ‘Bloody Samaritan’ singer was meant to perform at Options Lounge’s first-anniversary party, but she didn’t show up after being paid.

As a result, the event was canceled, and the club promised to communicate a new date for the event as soon as possible.

According to reports, Voltage nightclub paid the Mavin Records label N3 million but was still let down by both the singer and her crew.

Taking to their Instagram page to reveal their next line of action, they wrote:

“This is to inform the general public that the planned 1st anniversary of Option Lounge which was billed to hold on 5th January 2022, and the after-party which was to hold at club voltage where Ayra Starr, a Mavin Records artist was to perform has been shifted forward to another date that will be communicated soon.

“This is due to the persistent disappointment and complete breach of contract for the second time from Ayra Starr and Mavin Records. We do not understand why Ayra Starr and Mavin Records after agreeing on a fee which we paid in full have consistently disregarded her fans here in Bayelsa. We have consulted our legal team and we are taking all legal mercenaries against her and Mavin Records.
