Former Arsenal midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has said Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is “creating a monster” at the club.
The ex-Spanish international backed the North London club to continue challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.
We’d recall that the Gunners lost the title by two points this season, as City win a fourth consecutive year.
Speaking in an interview with El Larguero, Fabregas believes City have not credited enough for their historic achievements in the Premier League.
He said:
“It’s still an achievement. They don’t give it that much attention either because it’s, ‘oh, they always win’, but it’s very difficult, very difficult.
“They have a lot of money and they have the best players but it is also very difficult because you are competing in the Champions League against Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona.
“In the Premier League, Arsenal are creating a monster too and they [City] continue to beat them and compete well and it’s not the end.”
