‘I’m Picking My Kids Over Anyone’ – Olakunle Churchill Speaks Amid Purported Divorce From Rosy Meurer

Nigerian businessman cum philanthropist, Olakunle Churchill, has spoken about prioritising his kids over anything and anyone.

Naija News reports that this comes amid reports that his marriage to Nollywood actress, Rosy Meurer, is troubled following the reconciliation with his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, and their son, King Andre.

Also, there are unconfirmed reports online that Rosy filed for the dissolution of their marriage on Monday, April 21, 2026, officially ending the union contracted in 2021.

The couple has also heightened rumours of a separation by unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Amid the online speculations, Churchill took to his Instagram page to express joy at the loving bond his first daughter and his first son, King Andre, share.

Churchill stated that there was a time distance kept King Andre and his first daughter apart, but that the moment they met, the connection they had was natural and effortless.

He stated that the bond the children share gives him peace that does not need validation, adding that he will always choose his children every single time, without hesitation.

He wrote, “As a father, if I’m ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else, I’m picking my kids.

“Watching my children love each other the way they do reaches a part of me I can’t fully explain. It brings me a kind of peace that doesn’t need validation.

“Life hasn’t been perfect. There have been challenges and distance. But from the moment they met, they connected in a way that was natural and effortless. Nothing was forced. It just happened. They chose each other.

“In a world where so much can be uncertain, what they share is real and honest. As a father, there is nothing greater than seeing that.

“When I look at them, I see a love that rose above everything. Differences, circumstances, whatever may have come between them, they didn’t hold onto it. They simply found each other.

“That alone gives me peace. At the end of the day, I will always choose my children. Every single time. Without hesitation. What they have is something no one can manufacture or take away. And I am proud. More than words can express.”
