We all remember the gentle looking smart girl in the hit teenage movie, Akeelah and the bee. Her smartness and mature style of acting was really impressive. The whole world looked forward to seeing her do more like she did in the spelling bee movie as she progressed in the movie industry.
She has however been through hard times, as she spoke up about her issue with depression and how her faith in Christ has been of help to her. She also spoke about how a lot of people have tried to change her, and make her fall from grace. She added that there have also been times when people have almost stopped her from being a loving person.
Keke Palmer is 26-year-old now, and has grown up to be a very beautiful lady. A lot kind of seemed different about her of recent, as her choice of dress was one that actually got a lot of her fans very surprised. She is now known to dress in very revealing dresses, and she feels very good about it. A lot of fans around the world have voiced out their concerns about how she is living her life.
She however replied that people are complaining because a lot of them still look at her as that little girl from the Akeelah and the Bee movie. Keke also claimed that people do not want her moving into acting adult roles, but she had to do that for the greater good of her soul. she previously told MTV. “I have had people attack me on twitter for cutting my hair, for trying out new styles and coloring”. She added that these are things most young women do without scrutiny, so it is surprising to see that a lot of people are scrutinizing her for them. She finally said that she is the one taking the decisions in her life which is what matters most, and that she is actually motivated by the concerns of people about her as it helps her do well and stay on her path.
