The federal government has finally revealed it now has a sufficient information to enable the reopening of schools nationwide.
This was revealed by the Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba on Thursday, during the Presidential Task Force briefing on COVID-19.
He stated that the sufficient information will be presented to the PTF before they finally unveil their decision.
He also hinted that the federal government will formally disclose the plans for schools reopening on Monday, next week after the adoption of the proposal by the PTF on COVID-19 and approved by the President of the Nation, Muhammadu Buhari.
Nwajiuba however, debunked the news making round, that he claimed coronavirus virus is nothing but a sham.
He noted he had said nothing of such, and further told Nigerians that coronavirus is real, said only the affected ones knows and can testify.
Nwajiuba concluded pleading to parents, stakeholders and students to have patience with the federal government.
He noted that there will be a positive outcome soon.
