Wizkid Should go and apologize to buhari.

Wizkid, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, a very popular Nigerian artiste who has made his mark in the Nigerian music industry has done so many for the country, including representing her in music concert and the rest, but there is a problem and a fire on the mountain that must be quench and that is why I want you to see 3 strong reasons why Wizkid must go to the Aso Rock and apologize to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recently, Wizkid actually took to his social media to take action I think he shouldn't have taken and if at all he wanted to take such action it should have been done in a better way compared to how he finally did it.

What Wizkid did that requires that he should apologise to Muhammadu Buhari

I know if you have been following this write up so far, you may begin to wonder what Wizkid actually did that will require him to have to go to Aso Rock to pacify the president of Nigeria.
Well, it all started when the issue of George Floyd was at its peak in the united state and there was protest almost everywhere in the there.
It will be recalled that the president of USA, Donald Trump at some point because of the unrest the death of the black man was beginning to cause, ordered the American military to deploy its staffs for peacekeeping in the country, the action although made some happy, majority in the US and all over the world felt that Trump's action was a trample on the basic human right to freedom.

Just when there was an uproar over there in the USA, at home here in Nigeria insecurity continued to be the order of the day with the murder of young girls like; Uwa (a Uniben student), Tina who was reportedly shot by a police officer among many others.
In response to this, Ayodeji posted something on his Twitter page which I think he could have constructed better.
In the attack of Buhari and Donald Trump he basically called them "clueless" probably because he felt they are both incompetent.
He wrote:
"Buhari/Trump same person lol only difference be say one sabi use twitter pass the other. Clueless!"

This word said by Wizkid is what I think he shouldn't have said and that is why I'm recommending to him that he should go to the Aso Rock and apologise now before it is too late.

Now, what are the 3 Reasons why Wizkid must apologise to Buhari?

1. Buhari is not his mate: At least he should respect Buhari's age by using a more respectful but critical word.
2. He is a celebrity: He should be a good example to the teeming youths who are following him on social media on how best one should construct and direct criticism at constituted authority.
3. His career: He should also have considered his career that will require him to represent the country on major occasions. Imagine he has been invited for a show for the president he called "clueless", a bit awkward right? Yes, that is it.
I know he is still young and he has a brighter future, but if he will want to achieve his future goals he will need to learn 'diplomacy'.

What is diplomacy?

I kind of like the definition I saw somewhere I can't remember, for now, it was inscribed on a wallpaper I think. It reads:
"Diplomacy is telling someone to "go to hell" in such a way that the person is happily looking ahead to it"
It is actually different from sarcasm as explained in the picture above.
This is one thing many Nigerians need to learn when criticising their leaders. If you attack the person in leadership he might likely want to be stubborn but trust me, if you advise them by being diplomatic you will achieve the same goal, sometimes even faster, without having to create any barrier between you and the person you're criticising.
So for this above reasons, although I'm not saying that it is wrong to criticise leaders, Wizkid should put on his Agbada and go to Buhari in the Aso Rock or he should go on to his social media and delete the initial tweet and subsequently apologise for the action as not doing so may affect his ambition in the future.
Thanks for reading.
