It is located on Highway 101, in Jefferson County, 27 miles south of the town of Forks. Although the coastal part of the Olympic National Park is rockier than it is sandy, it’s still worth visiting the ruby beach for its incredible scenery.

This secluded, yet amazing beach became famous after it was featured in the 1999 movie ‘The Beach’ which made it be wildly known by tourists. In order to avoid crowds, if you don’t like them much, visit the beach in the early morning.
7. Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica

Manuel Antonio National Park is the destination of as many as 150,000 visitors annually and well known for its beautiful beaches and hiking trails.
The best time to visit this place is in May and November. The beach is on the Pacific side of narrow Costa Rica, comprised of lush rainforests of the national park. Manuel Antonio was listed by Forbes among the world’s 12 most beautiful national parks in 2011.

Most visitors to Tulum like to remain on the beaches located just in front of the Tulum Ruins, but the more pristine beach everyone talks about is just further away south.
