Louisiana COVID hospitalizations fall again Thursday; 46 more deaths reported

Louisiana COVID-19 hospitalizations fell for the third straight day Thursday and for the fourth time in five days.

The state reported 20 fewer hospitalizations for a total of 1,524, while 16 fewer hospital patients needed ventilators Thursday for a total of 205.

Louisiana suffered 42 more COVID-related deaths for a total of 3,811.

The state reported 1,708 new cases Thursday for a total of 114,481.
