An authority of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been shot and basically harmed.
The occurrence happened on Saturday while the electorate were casting a ballot in the governorship political race in the state and was affirmed by Professor Godswill Alan Lukman, the Collation Officer in Etsako Central Local Government Area where the episode occurred.
Teacher Godswill made the exposure on Sunday at the examination place in Benin City, while giving a circumstance report on the political race directed in the LGA.
He, nonetheless, expressed that the casualty was not dead but rather in basic condition at an emergency clinic in the state.
