Liverpool have concurred an arrangement to sign midfielder Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich for at any rate £20m, in addition to £5m in additional items, on a four-year contract.
Thiago, 29, joined the German monsters from Barcelona in 2013 and played in last season's Champions League last triumph over Paris St-Germain.
He is set to wear the number six shirt at Anfield.
Thiago would be the Premier League champions' subsequent summer marking, after
Greece left-back Kostas Tsimikas.
The £20m will be paid over the length of Thiago's agreement and the extra £5m will rely upon the Reds winning the Premier League and Champions League achievement.
When approached about an expected move for the Spaniard a week ago, Liverpool supervisor Jurgen Klopp stated: "I can't end theory as long as the exchange window is open.
