Man Flogged By Nigerian Soldiers For Expressing His Right To 'Freedom Of Speech'

A man has blamed officers for thrashing him for communicating his entitlement to the right to speak freely of discourse, NaijaCover Reports. 

From The Information Gathered By NAIJACOVER, Samson Etumudon shared a photograph of his swollen back with a red whip mark and clarified that he was lashed by warriors in Benin, along Airport street. 

When asked what he said to outrage the troopers, he said that he was in a vehicle when the fighters attempted to board the vehicle, NaijaCover Reports. 

He clarified that the troopers, who were wearing mufti, investigated the vehicle at that point remarked that he is a criminal searching for who to "run". Not realizing that they are fighters, he said he hit back at them, inquiring as to whether he has "run" them previously. 

The troopers entered the vehicle then when they got to the front of their base, they got down from the vehicle and hauled him down before attacking him.
