Edo State Governor-choose Godwin Obaseki and his delegate choose Philip Shuaibu on Monday visited previous Vice President Atiku Abubakar in Abuja, Igbere TV reports.
Mr Obaseki wore a top which read 'Thank You' to show gratefulness for the pretended by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in guaranteeing he gets a subsequent term.
Atiku, the official up-and-comer of the PDP in 2019, as of late got back to the nation for his child's wedding following a nine-month visit to Dubai.
He tweeted on Tuesday about the visit, saying: "Yesterday, at my home in Abuja, I played host to @GovernorObaseki and Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu, who were as of late reappointed for a second term in Edo State."
Igbere TV reports that Obaseki had to look for cover in the PDP in the wake of being denied a second term by the All Progressives Congress (APC) which at the time had Adams Oshiomhole as public director.
