As indicated by the investigator, Mrs Ogunsan Bolaji, the wrongdoers were trapped in the demonstration at Ajilosun and NTA street regions.
Conveying his judgment, Magistrate Timothy Abe said the offenders were seen as liable of the offense under Section 7b and Section 12 of subsection 4 of Ekiti State Environmental Health and Sanitation Law of 2020.
The Magistrate condemned them to two months detainment each with a choice of fine of N5000.
One of the wrongdoers, Alaba Kolade who couldn't manage the cost of the fine argued for tolerance and was made to notice network administration.
Different wrongdoers caught by the Environmental Task Force of the Ministry included: Adetimi Kemi, Iyabo Ojo, Ajayi Victoria, Olaoye Omolara and Sunday Risikat.
Others are; Ilori Wuraola, Olayemi Aarinola, Suleiman Hamed and Tadeolu Rotimi.
While talking on the occurrence, the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Barrister Mrs Iyabo Fakunle-Okieimen, who glared at the episode cautioned individuals against disregarding ecological laws.
Okieimen focused on the responsibility of the current organization to give a sound and favorable climate for the individuals of the state to prepare for the flare-up of plagues.
As indicated by her, the Task Force would keep on moving round to uphold natural laws adding that whoever is gotten would be indicted by ecological surviving law.
She informed individuals concerning the state to consistently maintain the Environmental laws and guard their current circumstance clean and from sicknesses.
