Ten people have been captured for attacking the men of Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Enforcement Agency (Taskforce) during an implementation of the State's transit regulations on Tuesday.
The suspects were picked up in the upheaval that broke out in Ojodu and Obanikoro during the implementation completed by the Taskforce in a few zones in Lagos.
No less than 96 business cruisers, prominently known as Okada, working on parkways and in other confined courses in the city, were appropriated in the Tuesday activity.
Additionally, four drivers driving against the traffic were captured by the Anti-One Way group of the Taskforce.
It was accumulated that some gangsters collaborated with Okada riders around Ojodu Grammar School to oppose the move by the Taskforce to remove cruisers seized during the requirement.
As the gangsters, equipped with iron poles and broken jugs, moved toward the Taskforce agents, the cops, driven by the Taskforce executive, Shola Jejeloye, a Superintendent of Police (SP), repulsed the assault, and scattered the mobsters and inhabitants hastened for wellbeing, as the Taskforce agents pursued the criminals. Five suspects were captured.
