Boko Haram Is No Longer Collecting Tax From Citizens - Lai Mohammed Says

According to the minister, the insurgents are no longer collecting tax from citizens because they no longer occupy any territory in the country. 


Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, has revealed steps taken by the Buhari-led administration to fight against Boko Haram insurgents

The Minister who talked in a gathering with Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigerian (NPAN) in Lagos on Thursday December 3, focused on that the extremists are done gathering charge from residents since they at this point don't involve any region in the nation. 

Lai Said; 

"Presently, how about we put things in setting. Prior to Mr. President expected office, Boko Haram could walk around any city, particularly in the north, to do destructive assaults. Abuja, the country's capital, Kano, Maiduguri, Jos, Damaturu, and so on were consistently focused on.

The Minister likewise charged those disclosing to President Buhari to leave, of playing filthy governmental issues. He said the requires the president to leave each time there is a misfortune in the battle on dread "is an unnecessary interruption and modest politicking". 

Lai Added;
