The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday charged private area players to get down on government authorities who were making it hard for individuals to work together in Nigeria.
He gave the charge at the introduction of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Trade and Convention Center.
He said the situation of government was to proceed, on a steady premise, to give a climate that underpins organizations to flourish.
This, he stated, was the reason the public authority presented the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council that zeroed in on attempting to improve the business climate.
He stated, "I imagine that one of the downsides that we have had in improving the business climate is truly regarding how we direct private ventures.
"Along these lines, for instance in Abuja, I hear regularly, private ventures who talk about the sort of issues that they experience, either with fumigation licenses, or one permit or the other. All way of imperatives, which in a perfect world ought not happen."
Osinbajo added, "The private area should work effectively with us in guaranteeing that we are police officers and ladies of the guidelines.
"A period has come for us to have an office of business, focusing on all that is going on in the MSMEs space particularly regarding guideline. You should get down on government authorities who are making it hard for individuals to work together."
The Vice President said there was no chance the private area and organizations could flourish if government authorities considered themselves to be barriers and impediments rather than facilitators.
