As many as 21 speculated Internet fraudsters have been captured in lagos.
They were captured on Wednesday by authorities of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Lagos Zonal Office, for supposed contribution in extortion.
The suspects, who were supposed to be individuals from a coordinated cybercrime partner, were captured during an early morning activity at Roxbury Leisure Homes Phase 2, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ikota, Lagos.
An assertion on Thursday by the Head of Media and Publicity, EFCC, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, distinguished the suspects as Shittu Yakubu, Akinsola Afeez, Adeniyi Joseph, Opeyemi Wahab, Idris Sunday, Lawal Moshood, Jubril Yusuf, Olusegun Mohammed, Adekunle Adesanya and Damilola Abijide.
Others are Sola Adio, Oladipo Ademola, Damilola Adewale, Akinsola Ridwan, Ogunlaye Damilare, Falaye Peters, Magnus Toni, Onanuga Ahmed, Bolarinwa Segun, Onanuga Olawale and Ayomide Afeez.
The commission brought up that the suspects had purportedly been cheating clueless individuals from the general population of their well deserved cash before they were captured.
"Things recuperated from the suspects at the purpose of capture were 12 vehicles, cell phones and PCs. They will be charged to court when examinations are finished up," the assertion added.
