As many as 20 people have sustained injuries after a gas explosion occurred at a Bovas filling station, in Ilorin the Kwara State capital, according to SaharaReporters.

Speaking with reporters, a bread seller who witnessed the incident on the filling station, Mrs. Iyabo Olorunnisola, stated, “The explosion passed off some mins to eleven am and we just heard a loud bang and smoke taking over the whole filling station and all of us scampered to protection, now not understanding what was happening.

“In the following melee, numerous humans sustained bruises, even as a number of the ones in the filling station like hawkers, petrol attendants and people shopping for gasoline had been injured.”

Also, a shop proprietor, Mr. Azeez Iyiola, who spoke at the incident, stated, “The explosion turned into from the commercial fuel plant positioned inside the filling station.
