Mohammed Haruna, a spokesperson of the state police command, said the victim was returning home from school in company of his siblings when two men on a motorcycle grabbed him and zoomed off with him.

He was abducted while returning home from school on Thursday, March 11 and was rescued after his classmates who he was walking home with raised an alarm.

The spokesperson stated the other youngsters raised alarm and the boy turned into rescued. The citizens descended on the suspected kidnappers, beating them to a pulp. He stated one of the suspects died on Friday, March 12.
