Commodore Joseph Tyoapine Dzunve, a retired naval officer, has been fingered in the death of a widow identified as Mrs Aondozungweg according to SaharaReporters.

Residents of the network accused the retired military officer of terrorising villages in the council with his thugs.

A member of the family of the deceased, a nurse with Buruku LGA, said she was killed for tough Dzunve’s authority.
“This man is a retired naval officer who's here in Buruku LGA of Benue and he's terrorising the whole network, intimidating all of the villagers.
“So, her overdue husband's stepbrothers had been crushed by Dzunve’s boys. They have been in the end arrested and taken to the police station. So she went there to secure their bail.
“So he felt challenged that who turned into this lady... That once he detains people, this female could go and bail them. So, he started threatening her, that he became going to deal with her and kill her.
“There became a day she wrote a petition herself and took it to the police station that the person turned into threatening her. Dzunve requested her to be detained and he or she became detained till he arrived on the station.
