Former Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger has praised fellow countryman N'golo Kante after his laudable performance in the UCL Final match between Chelsea and Manchester City in Porto.
Arsene Wenger who has been off the managerial role for about five seasons now, had a couple of things to say while he was making comments in the match during a podcast.
The highly respected manager, is one of the greatest Premier League managers after Sir Alex Ferguson and his words of encouragement surely would mean a lot to N'golo Kante.
The French international has been a huge asset to the Blues since he joined them from Leicester City. Every coach who has managed the Blues since he joined them have praised him for his consistency and his outstanding performance.
He is one of the strongest defensive midfielders in the league and across Europe. He is ever present to stop deadly attacks in the last three and recover the ball when the opponents are on the move.
Wenger said it was a heavy burden for him being favourites for Manchester City, but he was wrong as Manchester City weren't able to win the ball back quickly like they used to. This was due to the help of N'golo Kante.
Arsene Wenger congratulated the Blues on winning the Champions League and he also praised Kante, calling him "a man who is above everybody else".
Kante was also named the man of the match in the match, this ain't the first or second time he would be named man of the match in the UCL this season.
Do you think Kante is truly a man above everybody else?, With his recent performance this season, should he be nominated for this year's Ballon d'or Award.
