YBNL star and Afrobeat maestro Ahmed Ololade, better known by his stage name Asake, has once again headlined the media after announcing the release date of his upcoming second studio album.
The incredible album identified as ‘Art of Work’ will be released on June 16. Despite the nature of its span, we have been graced with the lead single of the album, identified as ‘Amapiano’.
On May 24, the YBNL Gem sampled and astonishingly released the hit song ‘Amapiano,” featuring his boss, Olamide. The heated quality of the song has so far soared the jam to the top of the Nigerian Apple music chart, surpassing Lil Durk and J Coles’s ‘All My Life.”
The album, which comprises several hit tracks, also features his other already-released hit songs like ‘Yoga’ and ‘2:30’.
Asake has also proven his qualities and influence after his unreleased album gained enormous streams that pushed the album to the second phase on the Nigerian Apple music charts.
This marks another dimension that Nigerian Afrobeat Gaint has breached without deploying quite a convincing effort. He has been naturally attracted to new dimensions ever since he debuted his sound.
Fans across the globe have been anticipating with full energy as they explore further what Asake may have deployed after bumping to ‘Amapiano,” spiced by YBNL Giant, Olamide.
In just a year, the YBNL icon has reformed his status to be termed the future of Afrobeat. He embodies the Afrobeat Fuji genre, presented most often with a touch of Amapiano. He has toured his sound across the globe with a consistent view of extraordinary qualities.
