Chelsea FC have officially send Welsh Defender/Midfielder, Ethan Ampadu on season long loan to English Premier League.

The 19-year-old defender enjoyed a wonderful season in Germany with RB Leipzig and was tipped become a regular face in the Chelsea's squad for next season. Unfortunately Frank Lampard desire to acquire West Ham United highly rated Midfielder, Declan Rice has force the Welshman to leave on loan to Sheffield United to gain more playing time.

Frank Lampard confirmed departure of the youngster and disclosed the reason for sending the 19-year-old Welsh international on a season long loan. He confirmed the club send the player on loan to enjoy more playing time and to get vital experience in the EPL.

Ethan Ampadu has made 15 international appearances for Wales, playing as defensive midfielder or at right center back. He made his first English Premier League debut for Chelsea in 2017/2018 season under Antiono Conte and has not played any EPL games since then.
